Doula Services Include:
One free 30-45 minute Zoom meet-and-greet to see if we’re a good fit!
Two prenatal meetings to ease any possible stress or worries. These visits help us connect and learn about your birth vision, help with your birth plan, talk about hopes, fears, pain relief techniques, comfort measures, birth positions, newborn care, and anything on your mind!
Full support from start to finish: I’m here for you via phone or email from the time you hire me, prenatally and postpartum, and in person throughout your labor.
On-call 24/7 starting at 37 weeks until your little one arrives!
Continuous labor support, plus 1-2 hours postpartum
One postpartum visit to kick things off smoothly, offering breastfeeding guidance, emotional support, birth reflections, newborn tips, or anything else you need. I’ll keep checking in via text until you’re feeling confident and well!
Professional Birth Photography: 150-250 edited photos
Guaranteed backup doula for peace of mind.
For Scheduled Cesarean Births:
I’ll join you at the hospital and stay until you’re comfortably nursing. If your baby is in the NICU, I’ll ensure you have photos or video and are resting well before I go. (Note: Please confirm with your hospital, as policies vary.) Birth photography is included! Plus, a backup doula is guaranteed.

Payment Plans: Available, starting as low as $300/month after your $500 retainer.

$100 Birth Tub rental only, no hose or liner
Long-Distance Fee: $100 for clients outside Olympia, Lacey, or Tumwater
Antepartum/Postpartum Support:
$50/hour (3-hour minimum)
$60/hour for overnight doula services (10 PM - 6 AM)

Currently, Doulas are not able to bill private commercial insurance plans directly for payment.
You would pay for your doula care upfront and upon completion of your services Blissful Birth Initiations an provide you a super bill that you can submit to your insurance directly in the attempt to get reimbursed.
We require a $500 retainer paid upon signing your contract to secure your spot. The remainder is due the latest at your first postpartum visit.

Birthing Families who have Medicaid would have no out of pocket expense.
Blissful Birth Initiations will bill your insurance.

If you have an HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Financial Savings Account) you may be able to mail your account my invoice and get reimbursed.
Contact your company to verify. Some accounts require you to pay for services in full and then submit a super bill for reimbursement. Contact your company before paying for doula services.

Many Corporations have added doula care as a paid benefit. If you work for Nintendo, Microsoft, Target, Red Bull, Walmart, and CVS Health contact your Human Resource Department to learn if you qualify for this benefit.
